I will overwhelm 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
